With a carefully thought-out modern and minimalist design, Faro House is equipped with high-quality instruments, processors, and effects, ideal for recording, mixing, and mastering. Each element has been selected and designed with attention to detail to offer artists and bands a professional and seamless experience.

Surrounded by nature, the studio seeks to create an environment that fosters expression and creativity, where the focus is on high-quality music production within a unique and inspiring context. Faro House is the place where music and inspiration find their home, under the treetops and next to the sound of the sea.

STUDIO

Faro House was designed by renowned acoustic consulting firm WSDG (Walters-Storyk Design Group), led by John Storyk, responsible for iconic studios such as Electric Lady Studios (Jimi Hendrix) and Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York. The result is a space that combines technical precision with a warm and stimulating atmosphere.

The studio has a control room equipped for stereo mixing and Dolby Atmos 7.2.4, a recording room with excellent natural acoustics, and a selection of high-end analog and digital equipment, ideal for recording, mixing, and mastering.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Among the highlights of the equipment are Neve, API, Avalon, and Chandler preamps; classic equalizers such as Pultec, SSL, and API; compressors such as LA-2A, Distressor, and 1176; and an extensive collection of ribbon, condenser, and dynamic microphones from brands such as Neumann, Telefunken, Royer, and Coles. We also have acoustic drums, vintage instruments, pianos, electric and acoustic guitars, basses, and amplifiers ready to use.

Faro House is designed as a tool at the service of artists: precise, versatile, and carefully equipped to accompany each project from concept to final version.

LOCATION

Faro House is immersed in an exceptional natural setting on the outskirts of José Ignacio, one of the most iconic destinations on the Uruguayan coast. The studio offers the possibility of complementing creative work with moments of rest, contemplation, and connection with the landscape. Walks in the woods, strolls by the sea, local cuisine, and a vibrant cultural scene make this location a true refuge for artists.
